[IMG] i have noticed that in baldurs gate 2 there was an item called the robe of vecna. it would reduce your casting time by -4-. how come there are NO items in IW2 that reduce your casting time except the feat, improved initive? that kinda let me down a little.... what are everyone else's thoughts, am i the only one this affected?

a kind reminder, improved initiative wouldn't work even if you have picked the feat.

teekc, the named feat is not processed by the engine as if such effect was imbued inside the item. I'm unsure if IWD2 even contains possibility to add such thing to an item, but if it does, expect the 3rd party fix on improved initiative. ;)

I don't know what the deal is, exactly.

But my level 30 bard hammers out spells in one round. Spells that my level 30 wizard takes 3 rounds (or more) to pop, by bard flips them like darts.

Banshee wail, dispel, monter summons, fire storm.

My bard flips them out, and is already engaged close-quarter before the wizard and cleric and druid have finished casting.

Which reminds me. I think I'll use DK2 to give my bard some extra spells to play with...
