Castle Jhareg - empty Bottle and Healing kit?

    anyone know how to solve this? The scroll said that if we cast a certain spell, it will turn into a divine potions.

    I never figured that one out either. But check the description of the bottle with Examine. Makes me think it's a useless item. :p

    Ah yes, I carried the stuff around for a while as well. Made me think its use is restricted for arcane spellcasters of some kind :D

    Forashi - my reply was contribution bringing you closer to a solution by eliminating alternatives - if you know what it's not (at least no quest item - since I sold them :D ) you have it easier to find out what it is ... :holy: :D :p

    I would imagine that you have to put the healing packs and the empty bottles in that alchemist's table in castle Jhareg (I don't think it works on any other ones) and cast a spell on it. I don't know exactly but at a guess something simple like cure light wonds or something perhaps?

    I did read somewhere that some people did use it in that fashion (ie right there). Apparently, it made 5 potions of the appropriate type, but only worked once despite having multiple empty bottles available.

    I've never tested it personally because I've never played a divine caster of appreciable level.

    It should be any one of the clerical healing spells that conforms to an existing potion in the game. I think the poster mentioned casting Heal, but I won't swear to it.
