I have tried changing Jaheria's portrait but I am having no luck. I selected a new set of portraits and put them in the override directory using every name I can think of, but no joy. This is for BG2, in an ongoing game. Can someone advise me whether this is possible, and if so, what I am doing wrong?

Also, I noticed a reference to TheGreatGonzo, which, via the CLUAConsole, is supposed to generate ten berzerker chickens that attack your nearest enemy. Does this work in BG2, and if so, what is the correct command to type?

    1) Title your new portraits nJahierm and nJahiers. You only use the first 6 letters of a character's name, capped with an "n" in the front and the size (m=medium or s=small) at the end. I have had the best luck with this when I put the new portraits in both the "portraits" folder AND the "override." The game will detect them in either place.

    2) Dunno. Never bothered to try. Somebody else can field that one.

Yes. "L" is for the larger size portraits that you don't see in the game. They are the larger portraits you can select only during character creation, which then default your character to the m and s sizes within the actual gameplay. Don't worry about "L" unless you want to go to the trouble of creating a portrait for that purpose, which is pretty pointless.

I always change Jaheira's portrait back to the BG1 portrait. SK works quite well.
