I currently have a good party that have finished killing Bodhi and has the lanthorn and is geared well. The current Player character is a sorcerer, however I'd like to try out a stalker or druid pc and go to TOB now.

Is there a way to import a new PC into the existing party savegame and then start a TOB game using that gamesave slot or importing the NPC party with items to a newly created stalker PC? I really like the way I've fleshed out the NPC's and the gear that they have.

    Any guidance/recommendations is greatly appreciated.

    Transfer your save folder from
    C:bad:Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\save
    to C:bad:Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\mpsave.

Then load it up as a multiplayer game, where you can exchange the characters (just delete your sorc and import the stalker you made up). Then transfer the save folder back from "mpsave" to "save", and you're set! If you have any problems, just post again. :)

I've done stuff like this before, although not going from single to multi to single and I've found that changing PC's tends to yield undesired results as far as party interaction and the like. You don't lose any powers I don't think, but some of the banter/global variables are a part of the character and not the game I think.

I think being the key phrase here haha. Just a warning though, what Felinoid suggested definately works.

I thought what Diosces wanted was to switch his Bhaalspawn PC for a different one. You can do that mid-game then? Or did I misread something?

Yes, you can, but getting a PC who can change into the Slayer would mean creating it in ToB before you export. Otherwise, an SoA-created stalker would have normal Bhaalpowers instead of the Slayer change.
