    ok this has probably been covered before but:

    If I am going to next month start BG again then go on to redo BG2 whats a good recommnedation for a character in terms of class combo's Done Cleric and Mage Killer.

    Finally DUMB question does IW Dale character import into BG2?

    try any class that takes your fancy. if you like the look of it, try it. ;)

    and IWD characters DON'T import to bg2... the file formats are slightly different :D

    Maybe since you have done the mage and cleric thing you should try something different like fighter/thief or possibly bard or druid. Just some suggestions. Who do you plan to have in your party or will you be going solo?

    Fighter/Thief is a lot of fun. You can buy the Shadow Armor, get yourself a pair of Boots of Stealth and wander round backstabbing all the bad guys you can find. :cool:

    Some sort of fighter/druid would be nice. I'm currently playing a dual-class Berserker/Druid with the Holy Grail soundset in a neutral-only party, and he and the crew are wiping the floor with all opposition!
    But it's of course up to you to decide what character you want to play.

    A half-elven Cleric/ranger gets all cleric AND all druid spells, plus excellent fighting ability. I also like playing sorcerers.

    A thief dualed to anything else (maybe on 9th level) would be cool, because you don't need a "full" thief in SoA.
    Try a class you have not used yet, even cleric is fun.
