    I have some questions about the demo 3rd edition character generator. What's the "GP" box in the wizard's spell page? Why can't I select a familiar for my wizard? And is there an armor that has no spell failure?

    Also, where can I find out more information on 3rd ed. (without having to buy a book)? :money:

    In order to select a familiar, you have to have 100 gp (the price of the spell components used to summon the critter). Go to the money page and jack it up.

    [​IMG] All armor has some chance of spell failure. I think a small shield is 5% which is the lowest and it goes up from there to 45% in platemail. There is a chart on the link in the post above.
