Character Page Glitches?

    I'm running Torment 4-cd version, with the official patch, Qwinn's ultimate fix-pack, Qwinn's tweak pack, Unfinished business, and Bigg's widescreen mod.

    I've just spent my first proficiency point on daggers, via Porphiron, which led me to examine my character sheet to check out the consequences. The sheet shows that my nameless one has two proficiency points in daggers, with two points unspent. Ok, but when I equip a dagger, specifically the bone dagger +1, whose info-sheet clearly states that the dagger has a +1 THACO bonus, i see no change in the THACO displayed on his sheet. -

    By equipping I mean actually picking up the weapon from his quick slot and plunking it back down so that its weapon-type appears on his paper doll and in-game model.

    My N.O. is a Lvl 5 fighter, his THACO is 16 and doesn't show any changes no matter which weapon is equipped. As I understand things, his 'specialized' (2-point) edged proficiency should give a +1 THACO bonus in addition to the Dagger's intrinsic +1 THACO bonus, resulting in a THACO of 14, when the bone dagger is equipped. Am I right?

    The only numbers i can get to change are his number of attacks, which is sometimes 1, and sometimes 1.5, and the damage bonus listed at the bottom of the sheet, sometimes 0, sometimes +2. The odd thing is these changes don't seem to be tied to any individual weapon. As i equip different things, the changes seem random - sometimes they are there sometimes not.

    Does Torment have buggy character sheets? Even after patching and fix packing? Am I misinterpreting the way proficiencies affect combat attributes?

    Yes, I'm afraid the character sheet doesn't update instantly just by reequipping a weapon. If you save and reload, or move to a new area, I believe that updates the page.

    The problem is in the engine, so it's not easily fixable. I -will- have some engine fixes in the next update, but this particular issue is kinda minor (the weapons do work as they should, it's just not updated on the character sheet immediately and it doesn't take much to get it to update). Perhaps in a later version.
