I would like to exclude the NPCs who can join the party (Jaheira, Minsc, etc.). I mean creatures such as Tazok, Dradeel. Certainly characters such as Xzar who appear but cannot join party in BGII are accepted.

Tazok (servant of Sarevok in BG1, leader of bandits)is in Windspear Hills as a servant of Lord Jierdan Firkraag.
Dradeel is in Spellhold, in the "lunatic asylum". Despite of the fact he was already 500 years old, he was quite normal in BG1.

Other creatures you can think of?

There are other ex-NPC's as well. Tiax is also in the asylum, and in one of the forest areas that open after leaving the Underdark you meet up for Coran and Safana.

Garrick is in one of the Temple District. Could also be the Goverment District, not sure.

    Quayle, of course.

    Elminister, duh.

He gives you one of the Harper quests, in the Docks, after delivering them the poisoned man.

Montaron also shows up, but as he's been turned into a metal bird at the time he doesn't do a lot. :p

Anyone forgetting Sarevok? Granted, it's only the wraith of him you meet in Hell but he's still there.

I'm surpised you don't meet with Ajantis at all because in his Bio on the game it says he's beeing tutored by Keldorn.

    You meet Drizzt in both.

I think that you do meet Ajantis in Windspear Hills as one of the knights you kill.

    (PS - I Think)

IIRC, you'll find Ajantis killing werewolves. I'm not sure he's in the ambush.

On topic, there's also the man who helps you in the quest "Island Concerns" in Brynnlaw... the thief with the medium shield.

    You mean Calahan or whatever?

What about Coran and Safana? I seem to remember seeing them someplace after the underdark, but that might have been a result of one of the myriad mods I had installed last time I played through.

Coran and his lady friend are in a soap opera of sorts in the Woods of Sharp Teeth.

    Serious romantic issues there.

Faldorn's also in the Druid Grove.

He's in the Government District, trying to woo a female paladin.

    Then there's Neb, the child-killer.

Actually Montaron is not turned into a bird, he's just dead.

And Scythe, you do kill Ajantis; I've never seen him killing werewolves. Garrick shows up first in the Temple District wooing an Order guard; I've never encountered him anywhere else either.

You meet Khalid in Irenicus's dungeon.

    I'm pretty sure that's everyone.

[IMG] What about Ellesime? Remember that sculpture dude that Greywolf is after? The face in the cliff is meant to be her.

In Brynnlaw the pirates in the Vulgar Monkey used to be Sailors of BG1.

IIRC prebek's house in the docks, the female mage in there I think you meet in BG1, her name escapes me atm...

Shank and Carbos in the bridge district - they are the assassins from Candlekeep - now they fight over Bubbles, lol.

Haz I think is in BG1, I remember him from somewher

Xan and Branwen are in the tutorial.

I think that's all that aren't mentioned so far...
