    [​IMG] It wont connect. just keeps saying that I'm connecting then connection closed. Am I lacking something?

    everytime that I try to log on now it says that it is loading, but never changes.
    Possibly the same problem?

    I assume he's using QuickChat. Which (same as any other chat client), won't connect through a firewall...

    Download mIRC or another chat client (I use Trillian) and make sure you set the local settings to "low" on your firewall. Allowing you to use it regardless of the firewall.

    I am ready to pull out my hair on this one.

    Of coarse I did, but i have no control over our firewall...

    I think that that might be my problem.

    Now, does anyone know a way around this?

    In the MiRC-options, you can choose for a option that you use a firewall or proxy-server... Look at the MiRC-settings... fill in the right options and then you would be able to connect through a firewall.
