Chat room troubles

    about a week ago the network admin at my school went on a rampage blocking music d/l sites and the like. in the process she blocked many things she didnt mean to, such as a site we get our chem assignments from (woohoo!). The problem I am now having is that I cant log on to mIRC or the java chat. does anyone know any way I can still chat?

    BTW: both mIRC and java chat worked before the all the sites were blocked

    Hmmmm I doubt if it is possible to chat with those two banned.
    The only thing I suggest you try is download a different IRC client such as trillian.

    Another IRC client could be the solution. Is Java totally blocked? Maybe it works when you diable the proxy (internet options, or when internet options is blocked, with the internet connection wizard (on a disk))

    What error do you get when you try to logon on quickchat?
