I'm trying to remember which stores gave you the best deal on selling a wand with 1 charge and buying it back recharged.

Was it the Copper Coronet after freeing Hendak?

Also, where's the best place in chapters 4 and 5 (Brynnlaw & the Underdark respectively)? I think in chapter 4 there's only one store in Brynnlaw, but I'm not sure about the rest. It's been a while since I've played.

Copper Coronet seems to be the cheapest in chapter 1-3.
The temple in the fishmen city is also very cheap and pays far more than the other shops so you can rich by buying and selling stuff.
In the Underdark the merchant in the deep gnome settlement seems to be the cheapest and pays the most.

The sahuagin city has some cool offers on gems, they buy at twice the price from you...

If you can steal them back, then the answer would be a fence.
