    Is there a CLUAConsole cheat to bring a character back into your party?

    Okay, okay. I want to bring a modded character back in. I confess.

    But it should still apply to this forum, right?

    I mean, can't we just pretend I've gotten to the underdark and I've decided I just can't live without Nalia?

    Thanks for any help.

    I think that's how it goes -- I'm typing from memory here at work. It might work, but I make no promises -- maybe by my bringing this topic to the top of the threads you'll get some help from someone who is a true hacking genius.

    You were close. The cheat to bring a party member back is:

    CreateCreature("Nalia15")

    Partymember name is obvious. And then the level you want them in at--- in increments of 5.

    They appear onscreen. You have to invite them back. They'll only have their standard possessions on them.

    I have no idea how this would work on Jaheira while she's away on a quest. I'm assuming it would make the game crash. Although clone "Nalia" was in my party when we met up with original "Nalia". No crashes. Original "Nalia" still refused to join the party. Clone "Nalia" came happily with us. Pickpocketed original "Nalia" to get all her stuff back. Tweaked her for stuff she was wearing and xp and spells memorised. And done. -phew-

    (Read Solaufein for Nalia. And I finally got the answer at that board after about 10 days.) I thought I'd post the solution here, in case someone does get to the underdark and decides they want a different party member to come back. I'm toying with the idea of resurrecting Yoshimo, but I have no idea if that will really mess things up.

    It'll give you the names of anything in the game (including a description for ease-of-use) through the console... creature, items, spells. NPC's included.

    No, it has creature browser which will give you names of all creatures (like names of all the Imoens - 14 of them iirc)

    I didn't know Shadow"Cheater" could bring long lost party members back into the game. I tried that and couldn't get it to work.
