Ok i want to knwo how can i edit my character,, i mean,, i need to edit my gold, is there ny cheat r hack for hits?

 

BTA is right. I ended up with about 1,000,000 gold at the end of the game. I barely even needed it.

 

there are several online servers that hand out free gold. not that you need it.

 

if you want your starting char to have alot of gold you can just edit the prelude in the toolset and create a pile of gold to pick up
you will never lack for gold again.
however after about lev 5-6 if you pick up everything you shouldn't lack for gold anyway.. although if you have low str and don't want to pick up stuff try the toolset tip

 

just enable console(shift+tilde)and type DebugMode 1
then type
SetSTR 1-100
SetDEX 1-100
SetCON 1-100
SetINT 1-100
SetWIS 1-100
SetCHA 1-100
or type
dm_givegold XXXXX
dm_levelup
dm_givelevel
type DebugMode 0 when your finished with console

 

I can't enable the console with the key that was mentioned!

No shift, just ~

 

In my keyboard tilde is usually to the left of "1", just below "Esc". But in case of NWN, tilde is considered the strange apostrophe (not the normal "'" but "´"/"`") located just to the left of backspace. Dunno the model of this Key Tronic but in Finland about all of them look the same. Seems in all other games I have US keys in use. In which tilde is different than it is in the Finnish keys. But NWN supports letters like "ä", "ö", "å" or "ü" anyways so it would fit the idea pretty well. Try it, and for God's sake don't cry like a pre-teen.

And you do get enough money, only from the middle to the end of the game. My now lvl 15 druid has around 400 000 honestly earned money. Though now beginning from my newest character I've decided to design my own outfits. Definitely not for cheating. But for gaining the same low-level armament I'd get anyway, only with a bit more fashion sense. I love to design my own unique looking armors and weapons, even if they don't have any special abilities. In NWN official forum I've already discussed with many of how wizards robes are so lame you just HAVE to redesign them if you want to spare your eyes the pain of watching them. My wizard's a wizard. Not some damn clown/thief/bard.

Edit: And when you do open console, it shows as a yellow ">" in the top of the screen. I activate it all the time, accidentally of course.

I agree with BTA, actuall you don't need the console - looting consequently my pally had been absolutely filthy rich by the end of the game.

As for the console: As for me the "~" needed to summon the console also was the <shift + key-next-to-backspace>.
Actually I found the console very clumsy to use and it was a pain to enter the commands - and in the end I found it was not worth it and disabled it again. It's nice to try out char concepts and make level ups and develop chars to chek out their potential and looks in certain armors - but completely pointless for gaming. And actually my pally was generously overpowered without cheating.

 

I don't like cheating until ive completed the game normally, just like NWN I completed it with my Paladin without cheats, but now I usually just add an exta lvl or two to spice things up a little.

If you ask me, if you cheat all the time, even if you have trouble with some parts of a game and you cheat to get past it, then you cannot truely appreciate a games playability. Or maybe im just rambling.

 

Actually; I believe there is a need for a CHAR editor to retake some bad choices you made in leveling up 4 levels ago and did not kept the save game, or don't want to do it again, I also found the console mode problematic, because not all ketboards have the same key, I've tried the Tilde without success
