Say, cleric ranger Multiclass, Aerie, Jaheira, Anomen, Nalia and Yoshimo...
It's three fighter types, four cleric types, two mages and a thief...
I also plan to recruit Imoen later on.

    Opinions?

Nothing wrong with it. Do you have some sort of theme going? You could swap Anomen for any warrior-type (Korgan/Dorn/Minsc/Valygar/Mazzy/Rasaad/Wilson/Keldorn/Sarevok/Haer'Dalis) if you want a more well-rounded party.

If this is a theme party you could swap Anomen for Cernd, druids have more offensive spells than clerics and two cleric casters (PC and Aerie) is enough for the party's needs.

Still, the original party is very solid. More defensive than what I would like, but that's more of a personal playstyle thing.

As Paracelsi says, it's a fairly well rounded party, should be fairly easy to play with, even on harder difficulties.

I'd never pick that setup, but as long as you don't screw something up monumentally, you should be fine.

YOu should be fine. Anomen and Jhahera are fine warriors and your cleric ranger will probably be nasty as well. Nalia, Aeri, and eventually Imoen will be more than enough mage casting. With Yoshimo in the early going you will have enough thieving and then later with Imoen and hopefully items/potions you will be fine later too.
