    How do I "spontaneously" cast a healing spell? I have tried looking in the manual, the strategy guide, and here in the walkthough section and the tips and tricks section and all I can find are vague answers. Thank you for any assistance.

    Don't you hold down Shift while you select the spell or something? I may be thinking of IWD II, as my NWN isn't working currently.

    That is what I tried first when I made a cleric, but it did not work. I think that is IW2. Thanks for the reply though.

    When you have used all of your healing spell, but you have another spell in that level a "s" will be on the healing spell icon, if you press it you will cast a healing spell but you will forgot the first-non healing spell you memorize in that level

    so

    level one: cure light wound (2) bless(1)
    if you cast your two cure light wound but you are in need of healing you will cast another cure light wound but you will un-memorize bless... hope this help

    Ahhh thats it!! thank you very much. When I started getting a few offensive spells I deleted all my healing hotkeys and memorized buffs instead figuring I would spontaneously cast the heals. I did not realize I still needed the healing hotkeys, I thought it would be more like Icewind Dale 2... Thank you very much!
