Any suggestions of beating the end boos of the mines? Donovin or something. Any Idea on haw many hit point he has?

Do I have to take the elevator back up to the first level? Or can I walk back up (I have a dump chest on level 2 I want to pick up)?

    Thanks.

Those guys are hard! Those frickin Battle Horrors nearly killed me, and then I still had to deal with Dono-whatzit. Sheesh

The Battle Horrors were a lot harder than he was actually. All it took was 5 reloads, a pack of summoned War Dogs, a pack of summoned Wolves, a few arrows, and a casting of Dispel. Yeah, only.

And to answer my own question. 55.

You could also use haste and run after him until he stops with the dimension doors  . His name is Davaeorn btw.

First of all, use a good thief to disarm the traps (there are about 3 or 4 in the hall and one a little bit further); unless of course you would like the XP.

Second, turn a thief in shadows and aproach Davaeorn until you see him, then either wait until his protections fade or sen Yeslick a little bit behind your thief (just out of Davaeron sight) and cast his Dispel Magic to remove his protections. Don't worry, he'll flee once he sees you but to counter his spells use Jaheira's miscast magic (if it strikes makes him a pussycat)

I just had Kaigan have boots of speed and haste on with some other strength buffs chase him around and if he tripped a trap they were mostly lighting and he was already gone by then.

How did you get a Boots of Speed in that part of the game?
(two possibilities: 1)Imported item 2) cheat; which one? :) )

The solution: Disarm Traps + Kill Daveorn

You pick up the Boots of Speed from one of the Bounty Hunters outside the Mines.
