It's been quite a while since I posted here... that shall be rectified.

Anyways, the Turbografx16 always was on my shopping list of classic consoles to get, and after playing around with an emulator, I decided to order a Turbografx16.

I am currently working on a couple of game reviews, like the kickass Blazing Lazers, Bonk's Adventure (4:20 game, I'll just say that much), Dungeon Explorer, Order of the Griffon, and to my surprise, some NES/Genesis ports as well like Columns and Ninja Gaiden. The Turbografx version of Columns is Japanese, so I cannot for the life of me figure out the text... but it's still Colums, and a souped up port at that. The speed starts crazy... I've never been above the 300 blocks bar on the Genesis, and above the 2100 for the Master System, and I think the Turbografx is going to humble me with my worst Columns scores ever.

Games like Ninja Gaiden look awesome on a 16-bit machine as well.

Okay, this is getting out of hand... I just wanted to let everyone who has an interest in classic game consoles and classic games that Turbografx reviews are on their way, and I hope they inspire you to get a Turbografx, as it is a vastly underrated console. It is a fairly abordable console, and the games are also affordable. Of course, there are some rare games which will cost a pretty penny, but from what I can tell of the Turbografx so far, it's a good investement. Maybe not as fun to collect as Famicom/Super Famicom/Megadrive, but worth it.

Blazing Lasers is great. Dungeon Explorer is good by yourself and fantastic if you've got multiple friends and controllers at the same time.

There's also a really great pinball game (if you like pinball that is) called Alien Crush.

If you like games like Legend of Zelda on the NES, there's a very similar one for the TruboGrafx called Neutopia.

I loved my TurboGrafx at the time and still pull it out every few years and give it a spin.

D, cool idea, but your blogs are open to only a handful of people on your contact list, so your audience is severely limited. Just FYI.
