I happened to download Gopher's Spell Making guide and got very excited making my own negate- armor spell as was described in the tut, but now that i'm getting to make some more advanced spells, well yeah, im pretty lost right now.

So basically are there more comprehensive tutorials out there, or will someone in here explain the basics and some advanced stuff on how to make offensive (area effect etc.) spells, defensive (spell turning, healing etc.)and those white-icon spells as well (I don't remember the naming for those right now)

Just some general stuff here, explaining what does each attribute and field mean (Using IEEP) and how do they affect the final "package".

I know IEEP may not be the best tool for making custom stuff for BG2:SoA, but learning scripting and all that crap is just not my newbish mind, not at this point at least. Also where do I find the oroginal spells used in the game so that I can learn from them.

If you're using IEEP, then you'll need BIFExtractor to be able to work with the in-game spells.

Yes, but mostly for WeiDU. Go to http://www.forgottenwars.net or http://www.teambg.net and take a look at the Tutorials there.
