For a while I'm addicted to concerts... (Since I went to Amsterdam to see Dream Theater)

Last week I've visited two concerts.... Rhapsody (they made records for the live dvd) and Blind Guardian. It was awesome... my ears are still damaged, my voice is still bad and the muscles in my neck are twice as thisck as they where :)

So... what concerts have you recently visted or will you visit in the near future? And what was your best concert ever?

For me, I cannot decide wich of the concerts was the best... I'm planning to visit more concerts in the future.... at least I'll see Nightwish when the come to the Netherlands.

Best one I ever went to was one of Massive Attakcs last ones in Athens... They played on the top of one of the hills there, in a natural amhpitheatre as the sun went down.. We were sitting on the rocks behind the stands, so saw it all for free and it was awesome...

I also went to a festival the other year (worked there so it was free too :)) and saw an evenings concert with Gomez, Beck and Pulp - also awesome (Pulp were still in the "This is Hardcore" stage...)

Seen Bob dylan once, and going to see him again next month, he's kind of special to see...

I used to see about 2 a month, now I'm lucky if I see 2 a year:( Last one was Slayer at Asbury Park, NJ and I plan on seeing Ozzfest this summer. The best one to me is still Slayer, Motorhead, and Overkill on Halloween night. That was mayhem:evil:

I try to catch at least a concert a month. Last year and the year before, it seemed like two a month. It's a big hobby of mine. This year has been slow, concert-wise, though. The last big one was Anthrax, back in January.

My favorite shows have to be the first time I saw Manowar, and the NY Steel Benefit, back in November. Seeing Black Sabbath onstage together at Ozzfest 99 was one of the single greatest concert moments I can recall. None of the Ozzfests since that one have been as good. One of my all around favorite bands that I have to see every time they play in the area is Anthrax.

I've been to tons of shows. With the NY/NJ club scene, this area has the best concerts. Some of my favorite venues are L'Amour, and The Stone Pony.

I had tickets to go to the Metalfest in Asbury Park last week, but I couldn't make it, which I'm a little bummed about.

I'll bet Sorvo and I have been at some of the same shows.

I want to go see Blink 182 this June but I'm pretty much baned from ever going out side. So I guess that I'll just have to hear about it in third person.

I am planing on trying to get tickets to A concerts some time this summer if I'm lucky.

I've got too much going on to get regularly to concerts. Live gigs are great though.

My favourite ever gig - without a shadow of a doubt: Madness at Finsbury Park some years back. It simply would not be possible to have more fun without breaking several laws. :spin::grin::roll:

It was amazing to be in the front when Nightwish was playing.... everyone was hysteric! It was cool!
Let's just say that I was VERY happy that I had steel-caps in my shoes.... otherwise my feet would have been crushed...

Sadly, there have been very few concerts worth going to around here this year. I suppose my little corner of the world isn't the center of the universe after all... ;)

I went to see eX-Girl, though. They were promoted as an "experimental punk band", but I don't know about that... (The music was OK, though)

    The "Stone Pony" that's a flashback. It's a small world after all:lol:

I drove 2 hours to see Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons last night. Going to see Widespread Panic in NC on Friday and GA on Wed. Was in NYC last month for 3 nights, backstage, with the Allman Brothers Band.

My friend Jim was at the Allman Bros. show. He catches them every year around St. Patty's Day. It was at the Beacon, right?

Yes, they were at the Beacon Theater in NYC. I've made it up for 3 of the past 4 years. My best friend works for the ABB, so he always invites me up. Good shows.
