[IMG] Okay, I haven't read any walkthroughs and have only been paying attention to this board for 3 days, so don't jump down my throat if this is old news:

I couldn't begin to tell you why this is the case, but when I put both the Ring of Gaxx and the Ring of Free Action on one of my characters, it increases their hitpoints and magical resistance by 100. Anyone run into this before?

    [IMG]
Now that would be an exploit. When you take either of them off do things turn back to normal or is the effect permanent?

That's cool! Geez, that's such a cool bug. If I had that bug, I definitly wouldn't download the patch! Big B, I wouldn't see why anyone would take off both rings.

Where do you find the ring of gaxx?

    On Kangaxx - the demilich.

Go to Docks District and explore every single door, one door leeds to his tomb. But, in order to set him up, you need to find two more of these tombs and loot them.

And make sure you go in with spell immunity/abjuration and a few +5 weapons, or you and your party will be toast in about seven seconds.

Are you sure? You know, they are hardly any +5 weapons in SoA. There was the Camyrsor and little other weapons, but I don't think you get any +5 weapons just in Athkatla.

Carsomyr, Staff of the Magi hits as a +5 weapon, sling of Everard, & if you up the mace of disruption to +2, then that'll hit him as well.

Happy hunting. That guy's a b***h to kill.

I messed around with it this weekend and found out that it is just this crazy Ring of Free Action that is doing it. It's just this one, not other ones. I couldn't tell you where the hell I got it either, it was on a character I imported from an old multiplayer save game from months ago. If anyone wants, I can email them a character file with it on it.

The ring gives 100 extra HPs and 100 magic resistance. This next part is nuts: if you take it off when your at, say, 30/150 HPs, you go to 30/50. If you put it back on, you go to 130/150. You can repeat this to heal yourself while paused! You can pass it around to all your party members, too. It's insanely powerful, but, like I said, if anyone wants it, lmk. My email is drones@astrosfan.net. I'll zip a character file and send it to anyone who emails me.

[IMG] I'm going to see if you can replicate the effect w/out being sent a character file ... um, could you download Shadowkeeper and tell me exactly what the item code is for the items your character is wearing?
