    There was a hilarious election-comedy show in Australia called "The Chaser Decides" (taking the piss out of Fox News in the USA - their slogan was "We Report - You Believe"). A high-ranking member of Parliament standing for re-election admitted to an extramarital affair, which led to these guys polling his electorate and putting up signs saying, "He's Rooting For You!" and "Give Him 1 On Election Day!"

    I think he was returned, though with only a slim margin.
