I think they're both around 30$. It's not anything like diablo 2 really. Baldur's Gate is an rpg that does more interacting with the characters and the environments, and in Diablo 2, you just run around everywhere killing anything in sight. You should get this game though, its great.

It's an underground plot by Black Isle and Blizzard to create the ultimate gaming monopoly, I tell you! The world is at an end for the fat and nerdy! Soon all games will be pingpong and typing-education! Where will we be!

The pregnant woman Gaming is popping out her latest in the hierarchy and is making much advance, but to where will we go, I ask? To half-frozen hot dogs and daily football marathons?

Oh, by the way, I think the games are around 30 bucks, like the other...ahem...oppressors said, although that will change within a month.

[IMG] Probably got them pirated. And no, you can't request the name of warez sites, before somebody asks.

Last time I checked SoA was selling for about $35 and ToB for $30.

Oh by the way, I'm so sorry I actually bought Diablo 2! It was such a waste of money! I played it for about 3 days and haven't touched it since. Personally, I'd rather buy SoA and stare at the box!

For all of you who had the game pirated, shame on you. We have to support Bioware and Black Isle so they continue to make great games like this!

[IMG] Heh, :heh: I got back from the mall this afternoon. They were selling BG2 for $49.99 in most video game stores, that's the same price I paid for it last January! ToB is going for $30.00. (I live in the USA.)

    Let me make a point,
I don´t live in the States,
I do not live in England ,
    And most of all, I don´t live in `and stuff` (Geography, what´s the capital of `and stuff`, ;) )

Nonethless I did buy legimate versions of BG1, BG2 and IWD including all add-ons.
If we were `all´ buying pirated games, prices of future games will be going sky-high, if new games would be published at all.
In the case of the relative small market for RPG computergames, I think you must support these kind of games by buying the `real stuff´.

I bought ToB for my birthday (I don't trust people to get anything right when it comes to my hobbies...) and it cost MORE than SoA that I bought in August!

Strange, for me ToB was 1/3 of the price of SoA... That is ToB without SoA of course...

And now I saw BG1&TotSC together costing the same amount as ToB.

    Needs.... money... soon...
