Couple of questions on FR books

    I've recently got hold of about a dozen and a half FR books from my brother-in-law and was just wondering about a couple of them. Apologies if this can be answered elsewhere on SP, I'm pressed for time today is all.

    1) Elminster in Myth Drannor - part of a distinct series? Do I need to read any others before it?
    2) The open-ended Harpers series - I have numbers 2, 7 and 13, is it recommended to read them in numerical order or is this not really necessary?
    3) Is Cormyr : A novel part of a greater, distinct set?

    1.) Yes, see The Elminster Series on that page.
    2.) Each Harper book is standalone, but if you have them numbered, read them in order. Most of the Harper books have gone out of print and the remaining books have been released under a new series name, Songs & Swords (see near bottom of the page).
    3.) Yes, see The Cormyr Saga on the page. You have the first book of the trilogy.

    What do you suggest I read in order to try to like Artemis Entreri more?
    I'm halfway through Streams Of Silver and I just can't stand him. I don't like feeling that way about a seemingly important character without knowing more. Hopefully it's just because he's not been fleshed out much. Thanks in advance

    Well, he IS supposed to be the bad guy, one way or another. Some people can relate to him, while others will hate him forever. That's entirely up to you. But you get to read more about him in the Legacy of the Drow and Paths of Darkness series... (And if you are intent on reading all about Drizzt, you should read the books in order, otherwise some things get a bit confusing.)

    Legacy or Paths first then?
    Drizzt is already becoming my fave character in books. Similar to what I aspire to be.
