Crash bug

    Hi

    I'm experiencing a weird crash bug in BG2. In the beginning of the game when I try to put Minsc use two handed sword the game crashes (jumps back to dekstop without any warning).
    I read about some similiar problems with ATI cards, but the patch that was supposed to install it didn't work.
    I'm using P4 2.8Ghz HT, ATI radeon 9800pro 128mb, 512mb 400mhz ddr. I updated my radeon's drivers to the newest catalysts, and Installed the lastest patch (game version is v2.0.23037).
    I guess there are already some topic(s) related to this issue, but by fast surinf I couldn't find any. Thank you for your answers.

    Are you using any mods? Have you got the latest BGII patches etc. I know this is obvious.
    Does it happen doing other things? Can other characters use 2h swords?
    It could be a problem with the 2h sword animation. You could try a fresh install.

    I'm not being very helpful am I. :(

    Are you sure that you have the latest patch? I just patched from Bioware.com, my gameversion is 2.5.26498.
