Crash when selecting portrait

    hi,

    i've installed patch 2.01 but nevertheless the game crashes and goes back to windows each time i select a custom small portrait, is anyone familiar with this mishap ?

    Hmm, on a more serious note - I don't know your problem. But off the top of my head this: Are image format and dimensions ok? Does the file name include special characters?

    Perhaps there are bad headers. You might want to open and save it again (to a format like bmp) with mspaint.

    Had the same thing happen to me. Every time I selected the custom medium portrait first, the game crashed when I selected the custom small portrait. I still don't know what causes it.
    My "workaround" was to select the custom small portrait first. It's worked like a charm since. ;)
