[IMG] Ever seen an orb fly at a target, the target steps into a dimension door, reappears somewhere else, and the orb change direction and follow? Well that's what happened to me when I was fighting a group of spiders. I wasn't paying attention to the type of spiders I was targeting when I had two of my characters cast Chromatic Orb at two different Phase Spiders. It was hilarious, orbs and spiders all over the screen :p. Anyone else had any similar experiences?

[IMG] Did you remember to take a shot for Screenshot of the Week? It sounds like a good candidate ;).

Think I might have experienced the same thing, only with magic missiles.

[IMG] I thought about that Mollusken but

    1)I'm not that reflexive :p

    2) To capture the real feeling, it would have to be a "moving screenshot" so you could see the orbs and spiders fly. Maybe Tal can work on that next :p

Indeed, I encountered this "bug" (I call it a bug for it shouldn't happen) too. When you cast magic missiles and the spiders phases away, the missiles suddenly are somewhere else on the screen and do hit the spider. I suppose this goes for all spells that are aimed at a phasing target, so also for Chromatic Orb, and even for normal bolts and arrows, I noticed.

I had a similar experience in Icewind Dale with Magic Missiles against Pomab near the end. Every time the real Pomab got hit, he'd teleport around the room. I had two mages casting MM so there were 10 missiles flying all around the room. It was like a swarm of fireflies! :)

And arrows follow you around corners if you run. It seems like an anti-cheese device if you ask me (Hey, I can manually make my guy dodge everything that's thrown at him - oops, no I can't), but I can imagine it must have looked pretty funny.
