Planning to play through BG 2 with an evil party. Last time I failed completely since I started to feel bad for all the NPC's that I treated bad... Some kind of warning sign that I take the game to serious maybe ;)

Back on topic again. I'm going to play with to P.C`s. My Kensai/Thief as Bhaal spawn and a monk (never tried them before). I don't got much choice for the rest I suppose. Edwin, Korgan and Viconia are the only evil NPC´s I can recall for the moment. Is Haer´Dallis (spelling) Evil? Does anyone know about some evil NPC mods out there? I just love the dialogues and that's way I don't create my own ones.

    Thanks in advance.

as far as i know those are the only evil npcs that they have, and since you said evil i doubt you'll take any neutrals with ya, and by the way monks are not all that they are said to be, i solo'd one up until about the underdark, and it turned out to rly suck.

Well, I may as well say the opposite to you and recommend the monk. Very powerful, and there is a mod on SP that gives the monk an update in ToB. Thats all I can say in this forum.

    Evil NPC's mods are:

The queen of cheese herself - 'Valen NPC'. Very powerful, and dull in my opinion.

There is also the 'Soulafein mod' and I highly recommend it. Its encounters are a bit tough mind.

If you want a tougher cleric than Vic, Anomen can fail his test and turn chaotic neutral. Chaotic neutral to chaotic evil are the alignments you should include in an evil party.

The best party I've ever played was my four person party - Assassin/Fighter MC, Vic, Korgan and Edwin.

Through the console you can create Artemis Entereri whose and evil Assassin.

He doesn't have a picture though.

There is also this mod that allows you to import people from BG 1, I used some of them when playing evil.
For instance, apart from Vikky, Edwin and Korgan; you can add Xzar the Necromancer and Tiax the crazy cleric/thief ("I'm Death, destroyer of woooorlds!!!")Go Tiax!
The imported npcs don't have any dialogue though, so it's basically like playing in the multiplayer mode...

I go for a 5 person party in SoA and then I'll add "someone" (how far can I actually go in this forum? ;).

    P.C Kensai/Thief
Viconia (Sweet dreams are made of you...)
Korgan (You pay and I slay)
    Edwin (BOOOOOM)
    Monk (Lightning fast kicks)

"Someone" (He's far to valubable to remain dead)

I also don't have any problems taking Chaotic Neutrals with me in an evil party - they never complain, and work quite well.

So who's Chaotic Neutral? Haer-Dalis', Jan and Anomen if he doesn't pass his test, and not counting mods. Blades are very powerful characters - once they get stoneskin (and that's pretty quick) they can even tank. Jan is a character that gets a bad rap. He is a very good thief, as he keeps advancing in theif levels, and on top of that he's a decent illusionist. He probably won't do if he's your only mage, but considering you already are taking Edwin he'll work just fine as a backup mage.

With mods, I believe Solafien is also Chaotic Neutral. He's a fighter/mage, so again, a perfect backup mage, and a decent fighter. I use blades and fighter/mages similarly, so I don't know if you are going to want both Sola and Haer though, but keep in mind you won't meet up with Sola until the end of Chapter 5.

So that's a pretty big list you have actually:

    No mods:

    PC
    Korgan
    Edwin
    Viconia
    Jan
    Haer-Dalis
    Anomen

With mods, you can add Solafien and Valen. So that's 8 NPC's for 5 slots.

I thought Soula fein was a Chaotic Good, at least that's what he came up as when I picked him up.

You obviously have ToB installed, so post in the ToB forum where you can freely talk about both SoA and ToB. Moving.

    @ Niskers

I've heard varying reports about Solafien, namely that is alignment changes depending on the PC's alignmnet. Supposedly (and I've never checked this so I can't be sure), if you're playing an evil PC, he is Chaotic Neutral, but if you have a good or neutral PC he is Chaotic good. It seems strange that this would be so, as no other NPC's alignment is mallable in regards to the PC's alignment, barring their alignment changing in game, but from everything I've heard this seems to be the case.

Yes, obviously Sarevok. I didn't include him in my previous post because it was in the SoA forum. But yeah, I'd take him.

Try Valen, she's really powerful, and very evil. You should also back her up with:
    Sarevok(The mod or ToB version)
    Edwin
    Viconia
    Korgan

    and then your character

Yes, in another case of "Weimer designs game content differently from a lot of other people," Solaufein's alignment will alter to suit your PC when you pick him up.

Two evil NPCs (Hessa and Alassa) await you here:
