i was wondering if the monsters in the game are at a set level i.e lvl7 , 8 etc. or does the creatures level depend upon your level i.e if you are level 9 the creature you're fighting may be 9 or 10 to make it a slightly tougher battle. I imagine it's probably the former, if so, is there a list of each monsters level in the game? thanks

I think monsters have a set level, you could probably check what level with ShadowKeeper. I dont think their levels change according to your level, because you would probably notice that in the game (with the monsters being better n stuff)

Monsters all have fixed levels and abilities, and these can all be seen in the monster's CRE file. They don't change with your level.

What does change, however, is whether you meet certain monsters in a dungeon or not. Take the Windspear dungeon for example. If you go there at a low level, you'll have a few clay golems. Go to the same spot when you're several levels higher, and you'll find an Adamantite golem. The same happens in Spellhold: there's a lich in there if you go when you're high level, but won't appear if you're low level.

There's a file somewhere (maybe on SP, check the Games section) that lists all statistics for all monsters in the game, including their level.
