    ok im at the bridge behind sassar completed the riddles but how the hell do i kill the 3 gauths without disturbing the the shadow thingys in the corridor,any help would be appreciated ive got in my party a half orc barbarian ,jaheira,minsc,korgan,yoshimo and keldorn

    That was a damn hard fight, considering the distance you have to cover AND the fact that when you get within melee distance with the gauths, shadows come rushing for help. Here is how I did it:
    I casted imporved invisibility on Aerie and Nalia, summoned my pets (spider, fire elemental from Jaheira, berserk warrior) and sent them to guard the bridge, and had Yoshimo sneaking (for line-of-sight purposes) My two invisible casters fired 2 fireballs at the end of the bridge. That caused the gauths to attack my casters, who fell back and let the pets deal with them. Another couple fireballs did the job (although my fire elemental did not appreciate that very much hehe).
