DDO Cleric/Ranger at GamerGod

    After the most basic builds, time has come for multiclasses to be shown off a bit. At GamerGod, you can read an overview of the Cleric/Ranger, beginning with a nice piece of narration:

    Talenn crept slowly through the cemetery towards the large marble crypt tucked away in the northeast corner. As he leaned in to inspect the lock, he was pleasantly surprised to find the heavy iron gate ajar. Pulling the gate open just far enough to slip through, he cautiously moved inside. His small lantern scarcely penetrated the oppressive darkness, but it was enough for Talenn to see a shiny reflection over against the wall. Moving closer, his eyes grew wide as the lantern slowly revealed the most ornately crafted sword he had ever laid eyes on. The gems in the hilt alone were worth more than all the rest of the minor baubles that he had collected so far tonight. With wide-eyed excitement, he reached out for the elegant weapon.

    Cleric/Ranger is an interesting type of character and one of the D&D classics, if not so popular as the Fighter/Wizard combo (or Fighter/Mage in 2E), so you might want to check it out even if you aren't actually interested in this particular game.
