    Zombies, Tactics, and Countless Ways to Kill or Be Killed in the New RPG Dead Season - Overview

    I just realized that I've never dedicated an overview to Dead Season on the TBL pages. This tactical RPG, developed by Snail Bite and published by Iceberg Interactive, is set to release on PC this October. To mark the occasion, a new trailer has been dropped, which you can find at the bottom of the page.

    Dead Season is an upcoming single-player, turn-based tactics game set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. The game blends strategic gameplay reminiscent of XCOM with the horror and atmosphere of classic Resident Evil titles.

    Players guide a group of four survivors through a zombie-infested city, scavenging for resources, fending off the undead, and managing noise levels to avoid attracting more danger. The campaign consists of 16 missions, with the story-driven forward by motion comics, adding a cinematic touch. Combat is unforgiving, with players needing to upgrade weapons and abilities to survive increasingly difficult challenges.
