    [IMG] I just started a new game a few weeks ago and for the first time I went to rescue Imoen before doing all the outside Athkatla quests (De'Arnise hold, windspear, umar hills)

    My discovery, due to the fact that I had deathspell after the underdark, is that you can get double experience from trolls. When I was fighting Torgar I used death spell, instantly killing him and all his helpers. I got experience from that but as trolls do they lie on the ground waiting for fire. I did a fireball and all dead and again experience. Anyone else noticed this?

    Question:

    Has anyone killed that noble b*tch (the one before the golem room) while his/her alignment was good or neutral. I was roleplaying this game and it took me a lot of will not to stab her in the back.

    Didn't know about that death spell bug.
    Have I killed her as good? My chaotic-good fighter/thief did, I saw that as role playing however I didn't have Nalia with me. As Chaotic Neutral I ALWAYS kill her however any of the lawful alignments I don't.

    If you cast Death Spell on trolls, you get the "soul-leaving-the-body" animation, but I don't remember getting the experience for them at this point. The double experience award may have been patched away. I'm surprised at Death Spell working on Torgal, though.

    The noblewoman you refer to is Nalia's aunt. When you talk to her you can get a dialogue option that you're going to teach her some manners which turns her hostile (not sure whether you get this option if Nalia is around). If you kill her it's classed as killing an "innocent" with a corresponding reputation loss.

    If you enjoyed murdering her, return to the keep to find a bloke called Quint Roenal standing by the raised drawbridge and telling you to get lost. He certainly deserves a slap. Unfortunately, he's considered to be an "innocent" as well.

    Indeed, that double experience thing does not work in patched BG2 w\ ToB. Actually, Death Spell shouldn't even work because they have an item that forbids their hitpoints going below 1. Hmm, sounds to me like we're dealing with two bugs.

    @chris

    I know who she is, I played this game 10 times over, I just wanted to know from a roleplaying perspective if you killed her.

    I did patch my game though, and I'm playing with baldurdash, kelsey, ease of use and solafein. Maybe there's the reason.

    If you kill trolls with Valen's claws, you get twice the experience from them.

    If you talk to De'Arnise Guard at the door and threaten to kill him, he and the lady turns hostile and you can kill them without losing rep. (Although it might have been so because I already might have had rep. 1)

    When you kill Auntie I believe Nalia disapproves, I believe she leaves your party

    @ Golden Avenger:
    And that's a bad thing? :D Nalia is worse than Anomen. The most annoying person in whole BG series. Even more annoying than the guy who comes talk to you over and over again (BG1 near where Edwin is about to join you. In BG2 in trademeet near the fountain.)
