I never got my gold, I never got my 45,000 xp, and I didn't get to keep the place as a stronghold, even though I am a fighter.

I went in with Nalia in the party. For some reason, once I got to the roof, she left. Then when I was done clearing out the place, she was standing outside. She was happy to rejoin the party, but gave me sqaut for my efforts on her behalf. The snotty nobleman out front also gave me squat.

What did I do wrong?

 

Lets just get this straight. Did you clear out the underceller with the umberhulks and the head troll????
Did you get the tresure from the pilar at the end????
Did you let the army men through the gate???

If you have done all of those things then it must be a bug i suppose.
Have you got the patch which incidently is availible on this site????

 

Definitely killed the umber hulks and all the trolls and all the golems. Got the treasure from the pillar. Opened the gate, and saw the men inside figthing trolls and yuan-ti.

In my journal is says that the quest is complete.

And, yes, the game is patched.

 

That definitely sounds like a bug. As far as I know there are only two options:
1) Reload from before she left your party
2) Carry on without the Money/Experience/Stronghold

[Edit - D'oh - I meant without. I'm not sure whether she should be with all the time, but I have no other ideas]

Also: I don't get #2.

 

I guess I have no choice but to carry on. But it kinda ticks me off, though.

I agree it sounds strange. If You go inside is there no Major Domo? In the big room at first floor. Perhaps he can trigger something.

Else cheer up, the keep would have given You Xp, but it costs a lot of money to get to be keep lord. By the time money starts running in, You don't really need them.

 

that is odd... the only reason I think u wouldnt get the stronghold is coz... maybe you already took another stronghold if u r a multi or dual class.... otherwise... im as stumped as u are

 

Nobleman: Where is Major Domo supposed to be? I don't remember seeing him.

Something funny happened. I went to the roof--NOT the roof that takes you to the drawbridge crank, the other roof, the one outside the tower--and Nalia got upset and ran off. I had to finish clearing the place without her. Once I was done, I exited via the drawbridge, and there she was, ready to rejoin the party. She said not one word about her father, about the keep, or about moeny. And I got ZERO xp.

 

Hmmmmm. I am at a loss. This is A hard one. I am not familiar with all the editors to the game but someone wiser than me might have some of-game software program to help You.

Major Domo Should stay in the Big dinner Hall when the quest is complete. Enter the castle from the main entrance. Walk straight ahead into the big room. He should stand in the back. Personally I think it some bug. Happens from time to time in computer RPG. If You get future Bugs this place might fix them. Its an unofficial site though.

I have been back to the main hall, and Major Domo is not there.

Maybe I will play through from the beginning again. I'm not sure I like my character in any case.

But I can't decide what class to be! That, alas, is another topic . . .

I just got a wild Idea... If You are still out there...

Try bring her back to the camp outside the castle. This might activate her speech-mode.. Computers must be treated in preculiar ways´when it's a DM.
