We all know that when intelligence is drained under zero by mind flayers, the character dies.

We also know that when levels are drained under zero by undead (wraith, vampire), the character dies.

My question is this: Does the same thing happen when strength is drained below zero (by shadows)? Or how about charisma (by overusing the Rod of Terror IIRC)?

And just for kicks, how about Wisdom and Dexterity (by using Haerdalis' blades - force attack yourself :D )?

Whenever any stat is down to zero, you are dead.

Which makes one wonder how you die from having lack of charisma. So ugly that you die? ;)

Ok, that's simple enough. It's just that I've never tried it before, so I had my doubts.

So looks like it's just constitution that can't kill you.

    What happens here?
    - Equip ring of human influence (sets CHA = 18)
    - Use Rod of Terror till your original stat is zero or lower.

Do you die right away? Or do you die only in the instant you take the ring off?

LOL Thanks for checking it out for me! You said the game froze? Now that I wasn't expecting.

Well, at least we've found another practical use for the Friends spell! ;)

[IMG] Using the rod of terror, reduce your CHA to 2 or 3.
Place the ring of human influence on your finger and drain your CHA a few more time until your natural CHA is well below 0.
Remove the ring and your CHA should be on 25.

I'm not sure why it froze for Deda Jag?
