I'm now trying to kill those demon knights, but there just to many of them and they kill my whole party eassily :(. Is there not an easy way to kill them or just let them come one by one?

[IMG] In the area before the chamber there is a narrow path. Position your men accordingly then send in your decoy-lure. Works every time. ;)

Not only that... there's a door there. Hint enough? Send someone in to lure one or two out, then place one char next to the door so they can close it as soon as it's out. Repeat as needed.

ye can also try to make yer characters invisible, and imbue some with spell turning
so the knights wouldn't cast heir spells on ye
try protection fron negative plane as well (on fighters)

the only problem ive ever had has come recently when i take them on in hardcore rules, losing a few fighters in battle is normal for me as long as its not my love interest, so i try and keep rods of resurection charged. But the biggest problem in hardcore is gore, a guy will get level drained then take 80 damage 2 times in a row, and splat hes gone,(thus forcing a reload) what i have found though (not quite as lame as the narrow path thing) is bunch up 3 fighters and put 2 mountain bears in front, when those knights attack the bears, kill the knights 1 by 1 as fast as possible, spells like improved haste and invisibility help here.

[IMG] Actually, I didn't have too much probs with the knights. Minsc, Keldorn and my Kensai cut them down so fast with magic missile backup (maybe because they came at me 1 by 1 and the last pair at the same time? ;) ) Maybe I just got lucky?

I walked through that fight fairly easily too. Actually, I was kind of disappointed! :( I was looking forward to another good butt kicking! (I need a least one a week or I get cocky ;) )

Maybe it was the Holy Avenger Sword doing most of the work (my cavalier did get 75% of the kills in that fight - while the others served as cannon fodder - sorry girls)

    [IMG] Yes, yes!

Demon knights ain't so though. They have HP about 90 and some magic resistance, but with at least 3 good warriors in your group, Korgan with the stonefire axe, Minsc with Lilarchor, Anomen with the Skullcrusher mace and my undead slayer with Carsomyr eat'em for breakfast. I think they're no match for an Underdark leavin party!

by hardcore rules i meant on the "insane" level, i guess i call em hardcore rules because of a that was the hardest setting in another game i use to play.

    That's what I thought ;)
Was probably Diablo2, right? I hated that mode. Die once and you lose your character...

well, I'm gonna try some of those ideas, I hope they will work. Maybe I had a hard time with them because I tried to take them all at the same time.

I wouldn't say they were easy, but then again I took them on all at the same time. The tactic I used was to summon quite a few monsters to keep all of the demon knights busy. Them it's gang up on them one at a time to reduce their numbers as quickly as possible. The haste spell is a definite helper for these fellows.
