Deranged Ramblings #3 - Busy Week

    Holidays are meant to be a time of rest and relaxation. With an entire four proper weeks off University this year, I should be making the most of this relaxation. But of course, it never works that way.

    After my exam on Thursday morning, I have been on my toes the entire time. Decided to take a few days off to go visit my parents. Get there Thursday evening and have to cook dinner (of course, they didn't have anything organised), then pretty much crashed from exhaustion. Woken up 6am with my sister's dog barking. Spent half the day trying to get a new stereo system in my car working. Then off to make dinner for the family again (what a way to treat a guest!), before heading to (1) the pub, for a friend's goodbye drinks; and then (2) another friend's place to watch some crap on TV, as we promised we'd come visit next time we were in town.

    Then today - trip back home, early in the morning, in time to get to work. Work. Home and three hours in the kitchen, baking and cooking. And then tomorrow got some friends coming around for a few drinks and some card games, so need to spend tonight and the hour or so after work tomorrow cleaning.

    What a holiday this is turning into.

    Plan next week :
    1. Move my tomato seedlings into their own (hydroponics system)
    2. Get a post up here about the said system(s)
    3. Finish Mass Effect 1 (started playing earlier this week)
