After wiping out the Tethyrian expeditionary force, I was thinking that all these guys have pretty good equipment. Do you think that they could take out Balthazar's army? I'm pretty sure that they could take on all of Athkatla without breaking a sweat, in the same way that a bandit party from SoA could wipe out the entire city of Baldur's Gate

there equipment was not too bad--but after reading alot about how tought this fight was, I felt they were quite wimpy. Minsc, Val and my half-elf 26 level kensai pretty much took them all down in 2-3 swings apiece.

I think the merc and monks are a little tougher.

Granted that they're pretty wimpy, they could still destroy all those "I serve the flaming fist" jokers. I guess it's just an issue of game non-linearity, and scaling things up to reflect your party's power, but I just think that it's pretty funny how easy it would be for Tethyr to defeat Amn, and for Amn to defeat Baldur's Gate
