Did Daystar get a beefing?

    Ok, I was just wondering about something. After my battle with the lich in the City Gates Inn, I equip Yoshimo with Daystar. As soon as I step out of the Inn there are a couple of Vamps who immediately ask me where my loyalties lie. I have Yoshimo use the Sunray from Daystar, and do 1047 points of damage to the vampires. Is it just me, or does this seem like it might be just slightly excessive? I don't remember Daystar being quite this beefy in my last game, and was just wondering if it was because I had installed TOB, or if there might be another reason. (Did Yoshimo manage to backstab with a sunray?)

    Sunray does that huge amount of damage to any undead that fails it's saving throw versus death.

    If you read its description, it says that it will destroy any undead that fails its save vs. death; that huge amount of damage is the way that's done...
