Well, thanks for all the help you guys have given so far, I did go and purchase the game (w/the expansion) and am totally addicted! If only work didn't get in the way... On to my question: I am in the mines (chapter 2). In the 3rd level of the mines, there are traps galore. I have Imowen (or whatever her name is) dectect traps (her detect trap ability is at 60%, as high as I could get it). But, she gets attacted by them everytime. A little red outline on the ground shows up also, what is that? It is really annoying, seeing as how I lost 2 characters to them, and then wasn't able to beat the final guy at the end of the mines. Any help you can give would be great!

once u have found the trap click the thief skills icon (pick pocket, pick lock, disarm trap), it looks like a golden drama mask, and then click on the outline of the trap, ull see that the pointer changes

O.K. The red outline is the trap trigger, you need to remove it to avoid setting off the trap. You then select your thief, click on the thief skills icon and move the pointer over the red outline. It will then glow and change shape. Click your mouse button then to attempt to disarm the trap. If sucessful the red outline goes away, if not then you set off the trap.

As a related note, you might want to go to the game play option screen and set it where the game autopauses everytime your thief discovers a trap. This has saved me many times as it will prevent your character from just walking over a trap you just detected before you can stop him.
