I finally beat SOA this am but in the transition from SOA to TOB i kept getting some default error on my computer that would not let me proceed. So I quit game after trying about 3 or 4 times to fix this. Then I tried to play the game later and got an error message that I had a corrupt .exe file. Being the noncomputer guy that I am, I decided the best thing to do is re-install the game. My computer loads all of the disks but asks for disc 5 (TOB disc i assume). My computer will not recognize disc 5. Ive tried to reinstall the game not about 7 times with no success. Anyone had this problem in the past? Could anyone direct me to a place or post that would help fix this problem? Im assuming theres some hidden file on my computer wanting me to load TOB with SOA? Im just not smooth enough to figure it out?

    Thanks in advance

[IMG] Well, hereĀ“s a couple of basic tips :borg: :

    1. Check for viruses, especially make a targeted
    scan to the Baldur.exe
    2. Un-install with the proper program, then
do a clean install. Just keep the "save"
    folder, delete everything else.(+clean reg)
    3. When was the last time you defragmented and
    scannded(for errors) your computer?

I had, once, a same kind of an error; I had saved
just before the game crashed and that corrupted
the save. To this is no solution. Have you tried
    the auto-save?

As for the problem with it asking for Disc 5, this is quite common. All you have to do is, when changing discs, make sure the disc stops spinning in the drive before clicking OK.
