before i got the greater werewolf kit, i was searching furiously for a way to gain back the abilities of the GW that was supposed to be in the game originally. I tried the Weimer mod, it was so powerful that it wasn't worth using. I also tried the refinements which was supposed to be the answer to the Weimer mod but that too was too powerful.

So I decided to leave my druid as he is. He was doing well until we got to spellhold. The first vampiric girls we fought were immune to his claws. So, I remember someone saying something about being able to dispel the claws (how do you do that?) and equip the werewolf with a weapon. I was going to equip him with a +3 weapon so he would be able to hit, but if i do that, will he actually be holding a weapon when he fights in werewolf mode, or will he just hold it in the place where he has his claws and the claws will be considered +3 weapons?

    thanks
    jim

Just use dispel magic on the shapeshifted character of your choice. This will dispel their form's natural weapons, allowing you to equip them with what you want.
Note that the bonuses of your character's form is retained.

thank you. my druid was holding some kind of +1 weapon and during battle, one of my characters was charmed. So I tried a dispel magic on that character to see if I could release the charm and inadvertantly dispelled the claws of my GW(because of the area effect of the spell) leaving a +1 weapon in his hands making it ineffective against the vampire girls.
