DJ Elios is in the House

    For the past several months, I've been playing around with my musical side and creating a eurodance mix (with the help of some very cool software). I sent a copy of it to a friend who lives in Chicago and works for a radio station, B96, for those of you who live in Chicago. He is one of the DJs there. In the evening, I think its after 10pm, they play mixes from several of their DJs. Well, I just sent him a recording of my "throwdown" asking for an opinion. Apparently he played it for several other people there and they really liked it. I've been asked to expand the legnth a little and there is a really strong chance that it could be played on the air! I am really excited about it. I'd get compensation if it is played too. When I get more info and know when it will be played, I'll try and let people know. The station does also have streaming sound for those who don't live in Chicago.

    Wait ... that's New York ... still, its a good thing! See the John Kusak movie High Fidelity and you'll see how a good Chi-town DJ can prosper.

    No, its not the morning DJs. I've been away from Chicago for so long (almost 10 years now). I would have thought Eddie and JoBo would have been long gone by now. Anyways, I'm sending in my finalized copy this week. I'm looking at air time some time in July. My brother, who used to DJ at his college in Colorado, is going to get a copy to a DJ who he is still friends with to play on the college radio station.
