I imagine this question has been asked (along with every other question possible), but do you consider yourself an expert. Do you know ridiculous amounts of info about a world that does not exist, in a time that does not exist, where everything is made up. I played Baldur's Gate for about 5 years straight, did everthing I could do and learned, probably, everything there is to know about BG. Did you?

    yes. But not five years.

Most likely because it is a splendid study for a pen and paper DM who enjoys the wide knowledge of Toril to aid in the campaign. And Not because the game itself is worth playing for five years straight.

Yes, because I can answer almost any question that could be thrown at me, have memorized parts of the dialouge, was obsessed with the game for a long time, and made sure I did as much as I could before finishing it.

I'm considering myself as an expert in solo-gaming. That's my branch. So, I know a lot about secrets, the gameplay etc. What i'm not good at, is taking care of technical issues(graphics etc.)

If you would have asked me that question a year ago the answer would have been yes. But now it's more of an yes/no answer.

i havent played this game for ages, and dont remember a squit about it :(

anyway, as fast as i can, i will get that mod that allows us to start bg1 with any classes or kits or races that futured in bg2.

then i will begin playing bg1 again.

i just feel that its kinda awkward that you cant choose kensai no matter what you do when you go from bg1 to bg2 (importing save game, when it takes you to the screen where you must choose profiencys and all that over again).

If your character is a fighter, then when you import it to BG2, you can choose a kensei for him. and BGT is out, jsut try downloading it from emule (check the BGT forum on teambg.net or FTP (again, check the forum for everything relavant to the game, it does rock btw)

This may sound a bit cocky, but I do think I'm a bit of an expert, I've been playing this game at least twice a year since it has been released. Still one of the best :thumb:
