    I think this is a bug. Everytime I use my mage to shapechange to a mind flayer and kill a monster, I don't get the experience. Has this happened to anyone here, too?

    Most annoying, it is...

    I think it (no XP for death by stat drain) is not a bug (is intentional behaviour). There's another situation it happens it, but I don't quite remember which... Imprisonment probably.

    For me it is a bug , every time i'm shape to something i get the exp for killing Creatures ...

    Not if you become a mind flayer and kill by stat (INT) drain from your tentacles (as opposed to HP drain), I am pretty sure.

    I've tried the flayer thing in TOB, and I got the exp with the intelligence drain. I seem to remember there was a slight "delay." Haven't tried it in SOA though.

    Another related question:

    In older games, you never got experience for destroying undead with turning. I stopped using turn undead because of that. I've never even checked -- so... is experience awarded for destroying undead via turn undead?
