[IMG] We have two dogs, Chaos and Pandimonium, both are beggers in the extreme. The other day Chaos is drooling during lunch -- not very unusual she has a faucet turned on whenever food is around -- so she's sitting there with this long, viscous drool hanging down when Pandy takes notice and ... slurp.

Ugh! I was glad I was done eating.

Any good pet stories out there?

Or Spark and Spotty, for that matter? I bet he calls them just Chassy and Pandy, in short.

I had a mutt, that would chase cats up trees, then climb up to get them.

Well, let's just say that a dog, like humans, sometimes doesn't feel well, and throws up occasionally. Or, like humans, sometimes has diarrhea. You know where this story is heading right ?

I won't continue then, and spare you the smelly details. :D Thank goodness i live in another appartment now and no longer have dogs.

Exactly why I prefer cats. They puke hairballs at times, but that's it (--instead of sicking out half of their innards beside the dinner-table).

It's not much better with cats, even though people say they are very clean and all. Some people i know who have cats, have smelly livingrooms, a very penetrating rotten smell which floats throughout the entire place. A cat's droppings smell even worse than dogpoo, and i won't even talk about their pee, it's almost like battery acid.

My dog's name is Liberty...Waht's wrong with creative dog names?

My dog isn't gross...She's actually pretty smart! She tells me when she has to go to the batthroom and sleeps in a bed all stretched out like a real preson!

Dog's name is Jonah, & he has a fairly cast iron stomach. He likes to indulge in ericaceous (acidic)compost and peat, as well as just about any food stuff he can find while out walking, no matter how moldy or degraded it has become. He also enjoys the odd bite of fresh horse manure.
My previous cat decided to eat the collection of dead flies which had succumed to a fly killer. That was a particularly nasty sick to clear up.

Dogs are very gross. My sister's dalmation used to eat the racoon poop it found in her back yard. Her current dog, a puppy black lab, drinks out of the toilet....even if somone forgot to flush!

This is why I like cats more than dogs... :rolling:

Dogs rule. Harden up if you can't handle a bit of drool, vomit, or excrement. That's nature.

It's worse when they have liver-cancer and lose controlo of their bowles every 5 minutes. Other than that, dogs rule.
