Well, I survived week 15. Wasn't overly difficult. Of course, badminton and trampolining will soon enter the picture (they've both been on breaks) with the former starting next week and the latter this week. Missed one session of running- can't quite remember why, but it doesn't matter all that much- the training is designed so that missing the occasional session is expected.

This week is a 'build' week, so time to up the times:

    Total Times:
    Running - 80 minutes
    Biking - 155 minutes
    Bricks - 2

Not much else to report this week, so, barring injuries, another update next week. :)

Thanks for making me realise just how unfit I am... Yesterday I managed 20 press-ups (from the knees, of course) and felt proud. Now I don't. :(

Sounds like some impressive dedication you have there.

Don't feel too bad about yourself- I've done sport competitively for as long as I can remember. The main sport has changed over time, but there has nearly always been a focus. I'm not sure I could live without it now. So, as I said, don't be too hard on yourself- I have quite an advantage. ;)

Were the press-ups part of an effort to get fitter or just a one-off?

Oh, and thanks for the compliment. :)

I just make a half-hearted effort to get fit. Just as many press-ups as I can be arsed to do before I go to sleep. That, and powering up and down the 81 steps I have to traverse to get to work. Not exactly a strict exercise plan...

True, probably not quite as effective as you'd like, I'm guessing. :p

Well, it isn't my place to tell you that you ought to be doing X and Y but, although I am no trainer, I can offer some small advice if you decide to make a serious attempt in the future.

I know I'm incredibly unfit  guess I'll mostly have to just live with it.

Hope this week goes well for you though
