    I've seen this posted about a lot, but I had yet to see a real answer (and Kitrax's guide doesn't include it).

    What's Emperor do? I keep re-loading a quick save and getting it continually, but I check all my stats (by memory granted...) and nothing has changed, though the Sigil guy says it's beneficial.

    In one of the earlier posts, it said that all his stats were changed to 20, that wasn't true of my PC or a few of my party members.

    Also this list Keumper had put up:

    is incomplete - not including balance, but also Guile and a few others I've run into.


    I know the info is around Sorc's place somewhere, can anyone point me in that direction I'm still as a useless for searching a website (that includes using the "search" feature :-/) as I've always been :( .

    AFAIK, Emperor card can only be drawn at your encounter with the Half-demon, you can not draw it later. It does confer Mind Shield, IIRC. Same goes with Guile, though it summons 5-6 assasins to kill you.

    Kuemper's list can only be drawn after you get the deck from the Cambion. Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Balance comes after you draw three cards, and causes the deck to vanish.

    Emperor is supposed to provide immunity to charm and confusion effects for a week, but the original has a few bugs--charm immunity doesn't work, sound that was supposed to let you know the effect had ended played waaaaay too soon.
