Don't you just hate it when... (Dragon's Eye bug)

    [​IMG] Don't you just hate it when you've made all the effort in the world NOT to read any spoilers, walkthroughs and hints and tips so YOU can try to beat the game (or be beaten) by your own decisions, without knowing what comes next etc.

    And then it goes wrong...........

    ***(Some spoilers follow)***

    So I've cleared out all I can in Dragon's Eye - not all that hard in fairness, but still. Nothing happening, so I have a careful look around. Can't find a wizard to get the lab working, so I wait and wait and wait.

    OK found a wizard in the dungeons who I hadn't really chatted with before. Cool! I thought, he'll sort it for me. Oh no. He wants to know about his mate who's stuff I've already looted donkeys ago. No option to explain that to him though. Nothing more happening. And yes I did go down the stairs and kill the Wyvern from the first level.......

    Whole game knackered and unlike when I killed Nickadamus (SP?), at least then I was told I'd done wrong. He was a wuz though, needed to be put in his place when he wouldn't let us loot his cupboard in peace. At least it told me.

    Oh well, finally checked the known bugs, and there it was. Oh well. ****!!!****

    I do hate it when that happens.

    At least I had a save on entry, so didn't have to things like the Guardian again.

    when you killed nick of the ice temple, don't you get a game over screen telling you that you have killed an important person and you cannot continue anymore?

    You certainly do.

    Thing is, at least you *know* you've buggered it up. I had a hunch it might be the way, but he took offence to me going through his stuff would you believe. :eek: :confused: :lol:

    He took a bit of damage before he went down, but he was being pounded too hard to do any damage back.

    No, i mean, how do you continue the game when you killed Nick? At the instant when Nick is killed, the game will end and ask you to reload. How can you continue pass Kuldahar and Dragon's Eys?
