Here are today's Dragon Age forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

    Flying dragon or walking dragon?

You know.. i have been here for how many years although i rarely post. However, earlier statements from Bioware seems that there will be no implementation of z-Axis which means there won't be any flying [IMG]
Not for the player, no, but a z-axis is not necessarily required to make a dragon fly.

Quote: It probably won't be another spellcasting dragon eh? [IMG]
    A spellcasting dragon? Lunacy!

    3D Game Engine?
The DA engine is not the Eclipse engine. I don't know what more we can say to stamp out this incorrect rumor.

    Brenon Holmes, Programmer

    3D Game Engine?
    Couple comments.

    1) The Dragon Age Engine is 3d, not quite sure where you got the idea it wasn't...

    2) We're using the Dragon Age Engine, not the Eclipse engine.

Addendum: If you're referring to player flight, well... dead horse. There are countless discussions out there on player flight and all sorts of other goodies as well as (iirc) some reasons for why we're not going to do it.

    James Henley, Technical Designer

    D&D based

that is cool... its about time bioware step up makin their owe stuff... they are the cool ones... not mircosoft or someone else... i don't it would be bad to have other be working on it as long as Bioware is the one in charge....
Our first intellectual property (Jade Empire) is slated for North American release on April 14th. Ooooh yeah. :D

Otw... maybe you could throw in minsc just for laughs???
Due to the way licensing works, BioWare does not own Minsc, so...no can do. Otherwise, we probably would.
