Here are today's Dragon Age forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Question for Bioware
We'll be spending a fair bit of time looking at the pacing of the game. Unfortunately, if the game is balanced for Pause n' Play (which is probably more likely) it will most likely be significantly more difficult to play in full realtime. If we balance it for realtime play, then PnP becomes too easy...

That's not to say that some folks won't be able to play RT if they choose to do so, or that there will be a ridiculous difference between the two modes of play... It's all still being discussed. :)

Multiplayer is a bit different however, we're still discussing how to handle the pacing of the game in mp.

'grok' is a reference from a Heinlein book (Stranger in a Strange Land).

Directly translated it means, 'to drink' but is taken to mean 'understand' in most cases.

And now... you grok 'grok' :).

    Anyone know of Shadowrun?
We have a number of avid ShadowRun fans in the office here, and many of us would definitely be interested in hearing news of a ShadowRun game, MMO or otherwise. Many of us still remember the Sega Genesis version of the game with fondness.

Personally, I am involved in a couple of ShadowRun pen-and-paper games at home. It's a great deal of fun!

    DA release date? publisher?
Games generally take 2-3 years to make.

BioWare has not yet announced a release date or publisher for Dragon Age. When we do, you'll know.

    End of line.
